A few markets and a very long walk...

Friday started with most of the day spent in Winchester which was great!! There was even a South African market stall with Biltong to die for and Milo!

Saturday saw us in Stroud at the Farmer's Market... where Bonny took this photo:

...and then off to the Forest of Dean to do the Sculpture trail!
This was rather a long walk and it was pure luck we had some water and wore sneakers!
It was pretty great though having to keep our eyes peeled for the next surprise hidden amongst the trees.

They keep the stained glass window for the end to ensure you keep going... and it was definately worth it!

Bonny came to visit... and we went to Morocco! Not!

But Bonny did come to visit - Just before the ASH decended... so NO MORE MOROCCO!!
...and so she was stuck with Phil and I for 3 weeks!!

Anyway... for starters we took a trip to Mya, Hannah and Georgia-Mae and stopped off at Stonehenge on the way!
This was a very true statement we saw- (look a little closer):
We all went to Ikea to buy Bonny some "dog's bum" coat hooks... and drank lots of Soda!!

It was so great seeing Mya again after more than 20 years... and finally meeting the girls!!

P.S. All the Photo's from Bonny's visit are in albums on the right.....

Buttercups

So many Buttercups are out at the Moment. I took these photo's while out foraging for Dandelions and Nettles this morning.

So Pretty... but as you can see these fields are right next to the motorway.

The Farmer who owns the land apparently wants to sell the these fields to a Motorway Service company!!

Bluebells!

Pretty Bluebells in the fields

Wierd Cows

These are some very strange cows that graze at Barrow Wake view Point
They come right up to us - very curious creatures... or maybe we're just in their way?

I'll try to upload a video of them fighting... look out for it!

Barrow Mound and Painswick 21 March 2010

Taurus Crafts with Ruth and Bernie

After going to visit the Boys in the Forest of Dean we went to Taurus Crafts in Lydney to meet Ruth and Bernie for lunch. Lunch was very good and we then got the guided tour. It's a really lovely place - full of interesting things to see... and buy!
